Prashant Thakur

I build small, useful software: security tools, Windows utilities, and browser apps that do one thing well.

Third-year B.Tech Computer Science student in India. Most of what I make is open source.

Selected work

  1. TeleSysControl

A Telegram bot for controlling a Windows laptop remotely. Check system status, manage power, capture a screenshot, or change the volume from a chat.

    Python · Telethon · PowerShell

Telegram chat showing the TeleSysControl control panel with system status, power, screenshot, and volume options.
  2. CustomQrAmount

A browser-only UPI QR generator. Enter an amount, set the payee once, and get a scannable code. Nothing is sent to a server.

    HTML · CSS · JavaScript

CustomQrAmount's light interface with a payee name, UPI ID, amount field, Edit Payee Details, and Generate QR Code button.
  3. Temp-Cleaner

A Windows batch utility with a simple menu. It clears temp files, caches, DNS, and Windows Update leftovers without installing anything.

    Batch · Windows

Temp-Cleaner's command-line menu with options for quick cleanup, automatic disk cleanup, setup instructions, and exit.

About

I’m a third-year B.Tech Computer Science student in India. I build projects to learn and to solve problems I run into.

Lately, that’s meant working with Python, C, and JavaScript.

Outside of coursework, I play CTFs, rank in the top 6% on TryHackMe, and take on freelance projects.
